Selected components for excellent performance
The two WRS components WRS 16.2 and WRS 13.2 are high-quality 2-way coaxial systems equipped with a high-performance woofer comprising a coated polypropylene membrane. Located on top of this in the centre is a high-precision, standardised tweeter with a frequency range of up to 24,000 Hz. A dynamic surround gives the coaxial systems an outstanding level of efficiency, with the internal high-power ferrite magnet system delivering the powerful drive. A sturdy ABS cage forms the basis of the loudspeakers.
Extremely tough and absolutely water-resistant
Absolutely reliable water-resistance is an absolute prerequisite for use in humid areas and and marine applications. The WRS components are therefore not only IPX 6-certified; they also comply with the ASTM B117 standard, which confirms resistance to comparatively aggressive salt water. In addition, UV radiation does not prose any problem for the WRS systems on account of the ASTM D4329 standard being met without any difficulty.
Stylish and unobtrusive
The WRS components are fitted with a stylish designer loudspeaker grille, which optimally protects the centrally located polycarbonate tweeter and the woofer situated below against knocks and bumps. Nevertheless, the WRS systems are definitely not visually intrusive and integrate perfectly into any surroundings as built-in speakers.
